There was a time when unicorns, horses, and humans were living together in harmony. But unfortunately this peaceful harmony would not last long. Humans were getting bolder as evolution took its course, and blood lust was starting to set in. Thousands of unicorns were killed to satisfy peoples’ hunger for the unicorn’s beautiful horn. Afraid for their future the unicorns went into hiding.
On the other hand, the cousin of the unicorns, horses, were not affected by the killings. Horses were born from Unicorns, but no magic ran through their veins. They lacked in the magical abilities unicorns had... and their lifespan was merely mortal. Horses resented the unicorn’s magical powers and how valuable the unicorn had become to the humans. A horse was merely used for work and held no value to the humans. Horses refused to go into hiding with their magical counterparts. Instead they continued to work with the humans in hope that if the unicorns left, the horses would become valuable and precious to the humans. In the back of their minds, though, they knew that one day the humans would be gone, and they would be reunited with their brethren- their enemies.
In the mists of New York City a horrible virus was spreading and it killed almost all the creatures that lived there, including the humans. But for some strange reason the virus did not kill any of the horses. In fact, the virus only affected a few horses and mutated them. So now many horses are now just as strange as the unicorns, with wings, feathers, scales, strange tails and etc.
Eventually the unicorns came out from the hiding place, The Unicorn Realm. Of course, the virus did not kill any of the unicorns. Instead it only affected a few unicorns and gave them odd looking markings. Some had purple circles on their shoulders, others had a green and orange spiral placed above their eye, and etc. Even so they all make their home in New York City. Now, the war has begun between the unicorn and horse... who's side are you on?
