Ice Age woke up. The sun was up and it was blazing down on her. Quick as lightning the white mare was on her feet. She lifted her head to the wind, smelling it to see if anyone was around. No-one. Still, her eyes shifted around, searching for anything. She heard footsteps, and she readied herself into a low, attacking position. She growled softly but it turned out to be a deer passing by.
Ice looked around her surroundings. When she'd come in late the night before she had been so tired that she had just fell asleep. She was in a small forest, overlooking what looked to be a valley. inside the valley there was a large meadow. Ice decided to check it out, maybe there was...well she didn't know what she wanted there to be. At a smooth trot she moved down the hill. Finding a rock to shade her Ice Age waited. For what she didn't have a clue.

Quiet hoofsteps could be heard as feathered hooves walked lightly on the grass. A dark black horse emerged from the small woods, it's long black mane flowing down to his shoulders. The stallion's sharp eyes noticed a tall long legged mare in the valley. His small ears pricked, and shaking his heavy forelock off of his forehead, as if doing that would make him see better. Throwing his strong legs out in front of him, he trotted gracefully and slowly like a dressage horse down the sides of the valley, his long mane flying out behind him, and his tail floating on the breezes. When he got to the bottom of the valley, he slowed to a slow walk, edging closer and closer to the beautiful thoroghbred mare.
