March 2, 2008 -

The February Activity Check has been closed an updated: three members have been deleted. For the last four months, we have varied between a population of three and fifteen. I would love for us to finally expand into something a little more enforced. To begin with, my goal is to reach fifteen members this month. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and please do everything and anything you can to make us look good ^^

Ok, I spent about four hours last night updating stuff, and I am still yet to finish. You may have noticed that the Forum Statistics is now below the Main Table, hopefully that isn't too inconvenient. Also, a whole new diversity of the whole Wild Horse concept is being added. Now when you join a horse, you will be asked what Element; enter either Fire, Earth, Wind or Water. This comes with no sort of magical power or enhance your horse in any way, it just categorizes your horse into either the Thieves Hideout (Water), Lunar Canyon (Wind), Emerald Forest (Earth) or Satans' Steps (Fire). You may want to read up on these four different terrains before deciding, because they tend to be separated by physical tolerance and personality type.

Of all seasons, winter has been known to steal the most lives, in the most brutal of ways. Food is incredibly scarce, most springs are freezing over and even Moon Lake is beginning to solidify, along with the mighty waterfall as its unstoppable force is frozen in time. Satans' Steps are all the more treacherous as a thin layer of ice slicks the bold granite. Thieves Hideout will prove an exceptional challenge to its hosts as there is slippery ice in every nook and cranny - watch your step.

18/1/07 - From now on, no character can be active in more than one thread at a time. Those who are currently role-playing a character in more than one place will be allowed to finish up, but no more should be started. Stick with one thread until the end before joining another, please.
There are a million and one reasons for this, one of which is that things get very messy, confusing and out of hand. Also, we hope to encourage members to just focus on a few threads rather than one hundred, so that then they can hopefully put the time and energy in to creating a nice, long descriptive post rather than racing around to reply to every single thread they are apart of.

27/2/08 - Ok, I'm just going to add of what has already been said in the Welcome Table, so you may like to read that before-hand, on the home page.

For those who have read it, you basically know what I'm talking about here. Something I particularly wanted to add first up was that these terrains are not claimed. The Alpha/ess position is given out by me and me only, though I may discuss it with Simmy. No position will be given out just yet, just be patient and if I/we think you are fit for the position, you will receive a PM notifying you of this. DO NOT ask to be an Alpha/ess as it will drastically lower your chances of gaining that position, which is obviously not what you won't. No promises, but generally the more aloof people that aren't so focussed on gaining a high rank are chosen, simply because they are genuine and very honest.


Another thing, these positions in no way obligate followers. You don't have to listen to them nor respect them, but normally they will be in that position because I have found that they deserve to be respected and heard out. I've not yet decided what, but there will be important decisions that they are to make. When this whole new concept has been thrown around and played with a little more, details will start to pop out, but for now I'm still kind of toying with it, so don't expect anything too exciting to happen just yet.

Oh and another thing, I reserve the right to strip an Alpha/ess of their role at any time, for any reason I see fit. Don't get me wrong, it will definitely be a last resort because i don't want to have to keep replacing the positions, but if I think you are no longer fit to lead, you will be stripped of your position and replaced. If an Alpha/ess is captured by a human, their rank is lost and a replacement will be found. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

Oh, this is VERY IMPORTANT! Every single equine character that is currently living in the wild must choose an Element! I will do a tally similar to the Activity Check where everyone must sign off that they have done this, sometime next week probably. So make sure you do it, and also, I need everyone to list their characters in their signatures. Though it clearly states so in the creation board, I see that some people are still not doing this. During the tally for the Elements, i will also check to make sure everybody has filled in the required info for your characters in your signature.

Umm... For now, I think that's it.
